Pro Optical is a division of West Tech Optical and Safety, an authorized dealer of many brand name frame companies and all our safety frames are CSA & ANSI Z87.1 compliant and the lenses meet CSA standard Z94.3-07. All lenses are checked for proper safety thickness and ensuring the standards are being met with every pair of prescription safety glasses, and then stamped for verification. Pro Optical Safety Rx (prescription) Eyewear uses only high grade true free form progressive digital lenses and we have lenses that are specifically designed for wrap around frames. Our Toric lenses are made for those with astigmatism. In our Edmonton branch we can have your eyewear done in 5-10 days. For out of province jobs average time will be 10-14 business days. Much of our focus has been on proper fitting prescription safety eyewear over the past years. The reality is that approximately 60%-65% of Canada’s work forces DO NOT wear prescription safety eyewear. They are wearing the generic throw away eyewear. So our concern is the largest percentage of your work force been properly fit checked on the current eyewear your company supplies?
