What a lovely dump of snow we had this past weekend! Is your back sore from shovelling? If it is, you should ice at your belt line and add gentle heat at your mid-back. Do gentle movement rather than stretches, as stretching with long holds may cause further damage. If your discomfort persists, you should look at booking in with a physiotherapist.

This is interesting!

The way we walk could be used as an accurate way of identifying us, according to an international team of bioengineers who analyzed the foot pressure patterns created by 104 subjects. They found they were able to identify individuals with a 99.6 percent accuracy.

Do you know how physiotherapists are educated? In Canada, physiotherapists are university trained – they now require a 4 year undergraduate degree followed by a 2 year Master’s degree.
