AMSCAR: Alberta Medical Students' Conference and Retreat

AMSCAR: Alberta Medical Students' Conference and Retreat AMSCAR will serve as a great opportunity for medical students to meet and mingle with future colleagues.

AMSCAR is an annual conference that exists to provide medical students from the University of Alberta and University of Calgary with an annual weekend conference emphasizing health and wellness. The Alberta Medical Students’ Conference and Retreat (AMSCAR) is an annual,
province-wide conference, which began in 2004 under the guidance of medical students from the University of Alberta and University of Calgary. Around 300 students from these medical schools will meet in Banff to address some of the unique challenges that they will face over the next few years and as physicians in the future. With sessions ranging from clinical skills, dancing, financial, management and activities at local pubs and hiking through beautiful Banff, this event will be both an informative and unforgettably fun experience.
