When I first became sick 4 years ago I soon realized I had a diagnosis that had no real remedies or support for the medical community...and I could no longer work. Mostly bed ridden, I applied myself to research. I took note of ANYTHING that might improve my overall health. Some are no brainers. Some required trial and error.
