As a consequence, the idea of initiating a platform which brings all Mauritanian Community in Alberta together and focussing on smoothening their integration through cultural activities and social meetings. After series of pensive and intensive meetings for the matter of gathering the Mauritanian Community in Alberta, a board was created under the name of Mauritanian albertan association for a de
termined term of two years as well as the President including other board members accordingly to the following points:
Bringing Mauritanian Community in Alberta together for social support. Placing the Mauritanian Community on the position which it becomes a vital role playing in the Canadian Society
Framing and guiding the newcomers
Cultural connection between the Mauritanian Community and other communities in Canada
Developing and implementing social and cultural relationship between Canada and Mauritania
