✨Welcome To The Nurture Circle - You Belong Here!
The early months of motherhood are profound. You and your baby are learning each other, while you’re quietly becoming a new version of yourself.
The Nurture Circle is a 6-week in-person postpartum group for mothers with babies 0–12 months in Edmonton. It is not a program selling you anything. Instead, it is a warm, intimate space to be seen, heard, and genuinely supported — while building the real-life community every mother needs.
Guided by Mandy Rempfer-Kuncio, pelvic physiotherapist and doula with over 17 years of experience, each week blends grounded education with honest conversation, meaningful reflection, and the kind of care that holds you — and your baby.
Over six weeks together, you can expect:
- Honest, grounded education on postpartum and matrescence
- Real conversation with mothers who truly get it
- Space to be seen, heard, and understood — without judgment
- Gentle nourishment for your body and heart
- The beginning of your real-life village
By the end, many mothers leave feeling less alone, steadier in their body and emotions, more confident in their instincts, and connected to a community that continues to show up for them.
A nurtured mother nurtures her baby. Healthy mothers build healthy families — and healthy families build healthier communities. This is where it begins.
 📅Tuesdays, April 7 – May 12
🕗 1:00 – 2:30pm
👶Babies welcome
Space is limited to 10 mothers to keep the circle intimate and relational. You are warmly invited. 💖 Your village can begin here.

Well - times, they are a changin’ for Nurturance Health!

We are MOVING locations! Nurturance Health is moving in with the Synergy Women’s Wellness medical team in Sherwood Park.

It’s a big move, but an exciting one - we hope to elevate the standard of women’s healthcare by offering collaborative care between physicians, pelvic physios and incontinence/pessary nurses. 🎉

If you know our clinic, you know first hand how passionate we are about women’s health. This move is a big deal to us because we believe having all these services in one place is the best way to get folks the best care!

This will currently be the only offering of its kind outside of the urogynecology department at the Lois Hole Hospital. All of our clients are welcome to join us in Sherwood Park. 💜

We will be in our physical location at the Lucina Centre until the end of February.

Our doors will officially open in Sherwood Park in April.

During the month of March, we will be offering virtual visits as a bridge until we are back in a clinic space.

We understand the move to Sherwood Park may not work for everyone, and we are sorry for any inconvenience it may cause. There are a number of other pelvic physio clinics in Edmonton. Please reach out if you need help finding one near you.

Our team is so grateful for every opportunity we have had to work with all our clients. You all mean so much to us! We will miss the good times we’ve experienced at the Lucina Centre, but we’re looking forward to our next chapter. We’re so excited to bring you collaborative care! 😊😊😊

Thank you again for putting your trust in us, and also for your dedication to your own health! We look forward to seeing all who wish to accept our invitation to join us at Synergy.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to message us!

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we make these big transitions.

Happy International Day Of The Midwife!

I (Mandy) was incredibly blessed and privileged to have a midwife with my second and third births. Midwifery care literally changed my life after my traumatic first birth.

I also have the privilege of working regularly with midwives at the Lucina Birth Centre where we run our pelvic physiotherapy practice, and I feel so lucky to know many wonderful midwives!

I dream of a world where all women could have access to a midwife if they so chose. That is not the current reality where we live in Edmonton. There are hundreds of women on waiting lists for midwifery care in our area who never get the opportunity for that care.

Midwives are experts in healthy pregnancy and birth. They provide care to support the health and safety of a pregnant person and their baby from early pregnancy, through labour and birth, until six weeks postpartum.

Midwives are known for their ability to provide truly informed care to their patients. Midwives are also the only health care providers who offer choice of birthplace.

THANK YOU MIDWIVES! And a special shout out to who is taking care of my youngest in this picture after a home-to-hospital transfer.

Where do YOU fit on our map?

At Nurturance Health, we help people across the whole lifespan. 💗

We treat pelvic floor challenges starting even before potty training —> childhood —> adolescence —> adulthood —> motherhood —> perimenopause —> menopause —> post-menopause —> elder years

We like the analogy of a tree for this progression of life because there are so many stages to go through... 🌳

And we all follow a different path and navigate a different journey!

What phase would you say you are in?

Which kind of lazy are you?

In Buddhist philosophy, it's taught that indulging in laziness and idleness can prevent us from reaching our full potential.

Now the Buddha was talking about spiritual potential and the path to enlightenment, but I feel like this idea of “laziness” actually applies to so many parts of our lives.

Check out the slides for 3 kinds of laziness that might be holding you back from creating something better for yourself. 💜

Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) happens when one of the organs inside the pelvic bowl comes down out of its normal position within the body.

😳😳😳

This typically occurs when the muscles or ligaments that support the organ weaken or become overstretched (hello pregnancy and childbirth!). It can be related to pressure within the core canister too.

Prolapse most commonly affects the uterus, bladder, and/or rectum…

and it is COMMON!

Some studies estimate that up to 50% of people who have had a baby will develop some degree of POP over their lifetime.

If you have POP, you are not alone! In fact, you are in good company with many other people who have it too.

HOWEVER, it can feel scary, or like your body has let you down or feels broken. 😔

BUT GOOD NEWS! It doesn’t have to stop you from living the kind of life you’d like to.

Is prolapse holding you back?

We can help!
