They call you strong.
You’re the one who never breaks.
The one who always comes through.
But no one sees what it costs you.
How much you’re holding in.
How many tears you’ve swallowed.
How many times you’ve said, “I’m fine,” when you’re anything but.
This post is for you, strong one:
You were never meant to carry it all alone.
You were trained to.
And your system adapted, brilliantly, to be high-functioning in the face of emotional neglect, unsafe environments, and constant over-responsibility.
But now that very strength has become the cage.
Healing begins when you give yourself permission to:
• Stop performing stability
• Start honoring your body
• Receive support (without guilt)
You don’t need to collapse to heal.
You just need to stop pretending you’re not tired.
