A huge thank you to ETown Salsa for choosing Chrysalis as their charity of choice for its Felizaño 2025 Latin New Year's Eve Bash. The silent auction raised $1119 to support our programs and services.

We also want to thank The Solid Gold Family and Andrew Lineker from Mobile Farmers Market for your amazing support. It was an enjoyable evening of entertainment and dancing. A must-attend event for next year.

Chrysalis was chosen by ETown Salsa as their charity of choice for the Felizaño 2025 Latin New Year's Bash!

On December 31 at 6 pm, at the Evario Events Centre (950 Parsons Road SW) you can enjoy a dinner, a silent auction, live music from Rumba Caliente, multiple DJs, and the Solid Gold Family's very own "The Wolf". Additional entertainment will be provided by Gaby Valdez, Sydney Espinosa & EDC, and Kelly & Deion With Etown Salsa. The Solid Gold Family will be broadcasting live on location.

Today is International Volunteer Day and we wanted to take a moment to recognize our amazing People Accessing Service. This year has been a fantastic year for those who have been out in the community volunteering their time, sharing their knowledge and working hard to spread joy at various community spots in Calgary and Edmonton. Some have even been recognized as Volunteer of the Month at their community sites!

These photos are just a snapshot of the amazing work that they do, and we want to give them all a huge round of applause.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities is a day recognized around the world and is meant to mobilize support for critical issues relating to the inclusion of those with disabilities, raise awareness, and draw attention to the benefits of an inclusive and accessible society for all.

Join us in Calgary at MacEwan Hall on December 3 from 10 am to 2 pm where we will be one of the many vendors taking part in this important day. You'll be able to take part in art workshops and view an art gallery filled with art from our artists at Chrysalis, and even get the chance to buy a piece for yourself or as a gift!

This is just one of the many events that are taking place throughout the whole province. Check out your local calendars for more events.

We were thrilled to have celebrated National Philanthropy Day on Friday, where we celebrated some amazing Chrysalis supporters. We were so proud to nominate Unicon Concrete Specialties Ltd. and Norma and Wahab Ali.

It's Butterfly Release Day in Edmonton! People Accessing Service were able to experience butterflies taking flight after experiencing their transformation.

Edmonton's been moving and grooving with one of the new 8-Week Featured Programs. Line Dancing! People accessing service are learning different line dances from all over the world. This week, they were doing the Cha Cha Slide and getting the whole building moving.
