The Seasons are in obvious change now.

I can feel it over the last few weeks.....
Feeling Cooler
Moving Slower
Needing more Sleep
Eating more or more often

All of these are normal shifts as we welcome the cooler months and we go inside for a 'hibernation' kind of time.

If you are finding the dread creeping in, or sinking lower into heavy feelings or energy, let's talk about a plan to help move some of that energy so you aren't feeling dragged down.

Appointments can be a simple 30min ear protocol to help manage stress, grief, trauma or cravings. They can also be 1.5hrs and include both acupuncture and craniosacral therapy.

** BREECH BABIES AND MOXIBUSTION : LATEST PUBLICATION IN JCM! **

Well! This month sees my first ever publication for none other than the Journal of Chinese Medicine, a highly respected specialist Chinese medicine journal with a huge breadth of articles relating to our wonderful practice! Thank you for the very kind invitation to publish these case studies last year and to Danny Maxwell for the speedy edits and critical eye on my original submission, it has been a joy working with you! I have really enjoyed putting these case studies together from three different patient presentations and which has been guided by the incredible obstetric acupuncture specialists and . My hope is that the case studies will be practical, relatable and able to demonstrate how rich and diverse our approach can be with these patients. In fact we as a profession have such a range of experience and the more we can get the word out there with these case reports and studies, the more the world will know about how effective our approaches can be!

Fun fact: when I graduated from Chinese medicine, I approached Peter for the first time with my systematic review on acupuncture and post-stroke motor recovery that I’d done as my 5th year dissertation. I felt I’d done a decent systematic review but he knew otherwise 😂 BUT was still very generous in his remarks and encouraging me to consider publishing in the JCM in the future. Well almost 19 years later, I finally got there 😂 I hope you enjoy reading as much as so enjoyed putting it together!!
