I had the pleasure of co-hosting the Marquette Research Summit again this past year with Sara Flood (NFPCoach- Marquette Method)!
I learned so much about what the latest research has to say about fertility, Marquette, perimenopause, and so much more.
Plus so many great visits were had⌠and not many pictures were taken! My heart is full.
Some of my favourite parts:
đ Connecting as Vitae Instructors - we really do have such a special group of instructors at Vitae. Theyâre the type who.. If you lived close to them, youâd definitely want to swing by for coffee. Being able to see them in person was such a blessing!
đ Connecting with the larger community of Marquette instructors - it was so humbling to look around the conference room and see a room full of people dedicated to teaching NFP, dedicated to the teachings of the Church, and dedicated to furthering the research in NFP to make things simpler for our users!
đ Watching God move in our community - we hosted this conference in the middle of the government shut down, we had endless tech issues, and it literally froze in FloridaâŚ. 32 degrees! Yet, we saw Godâs hand moving, taking care of the details for us so that we could still have a successful conference.
đ Learning about the new research thatâs unfolding - thereâs lots going on in the Marquette research world - some really exciting studies thatâll be published in the next year or so, and we got to hear all about them!
đ Learning more about the moral and ethical issues related to NFP - we had Dr. Perry Cahall, PhD attend our conference to speak to the ethical issues that arise in NFP, both in the spectrum of womenâs health, and also in the day-to-day NFP userâs life.
đŚ Catching a lizard (Iâm mostly joking⌠but I have proof!)
