When you spend your energy trying to imitate others or fit into a mold, you’re essentially suppressing your unique perspective, creativity, and potential. You become a follower rather than a leader — not because you lack ability, but because you’re not tapping into your authentic self.

The most groundbreaking ideas, innovations, and personal growth always come from those who dare to think differently and push their own limits. When you focus on besting yourself rather than competing with others, you’re constantly evolving and creating something original.

It’s like in dance — if you copy someone else’s style, you’ll always be second best. But if you find your own rhythm, you have the potential to create something no one has ever seen before. Same goes for business, coaching, leadership — be unapologetically you, and you’ll always have the upper hand because no one can outdo you at being yourself.

So the real game is: how far can you push your own boundaries? How much better can you become than you were yesterday?

What have I learnt again and again and see it done Gina and again? Regret!

I suppose the more I work with people the more I realize that a common theme keeps recurring amongst those who have aged. There seems to be a theme of regret on things we haven’t done or missed in life but mostly and always happening towards the latter part of our lives.

I suspect when we are in the midst of life we forget that we age, we forget that time does pass and we forget that we will die. Only a few amongst many wake up early to the realization that if we don’t shift our ways, change or go for our dreams we will end up in a sea of Lost Moments.

Yes, It is never too late to restart or start anything but to do it earlier than later when our egos are at its most that’s when we live a full filling life with every moment honoured than abused.

I hope this poem inspires you or at least gives you the fire to start doing the things you want before time passes you by.

We’ve all had those moments when you meet someone and it feels like gravity. Like you are being pulled into their orbit, always. So you let it pull you in…! I have had that and these words I could best describe through gravity. Hope it resonates with you!

What if we don’t put all of us into the relationship. What if we took a bit of us and always looked after that bit and treated it with love and self improvement. What if in relationships and after breakups we took that bit and constantly looked at ways to make it grow, complete and improve. Wouldn’t we then be a better version for the other person or for the person we will meet. If we all did our part I have a suspicious feeling we will always have a better relationship with the person we love and with ourselves.

This one was inspired by a promise I made along time ago to myself: “not until I do the work on myself and for myself I want to meet the right one”! It worked!

When we’re kids, life is one big playground. But as we grow up, that playground starts to fill up with “important” stuff—like work, bills, and, you know, basic survival. Suddenly, the swing set gets replaced with spreadsheets, and the slide turns into a pile of laundry. The daily grind? It’s a creativity killer.

But here’s the thing: creativity is the heartbeat of existence. The universe is constantly creating and playing—stars forming, flowers blooming, squirrels plotting world domination (probably). That creative spark isn’t gone; it’s just buried under all that adulting.

Reconnecting with it doesn’t have to be hard. Do little things that light you up—draw, dance, bake, sing loudly (and badly) in the car. Whatever makes you feel alive and a little ridiculous. Because every time you engage that creative side, you’re chipping away at the walls your routine has built.

So, let yourself play. Let yourself be an artist, even if it’s messy or weird. You’ll find that spark is still there, whispering: It’s alive!

Never a word that can encapsulate the feeling of Love completely so we give it as much a description we can. Lazing along the beach with the stars as bright I look up and wonder how in love I am, have been and will continue to be. Something about the skies that explains the vastness and depth of love accurately.

Without realizing it, I take full responsibility for my contributions to the upbringing of my daughter. As parents, consciously or subconsciously, we often shape our children’s beliefs, thoughts, and feelings about success and fulfillment.

I can still hear my mom’s voice, her words about money and achievements, resonating in my mind. As children, we listen, absorb, and often fulfill the sentiments expressed by our parents. This is why it’s so crucial that we raise our children to be better than we were, to think bigger, and to always have a positive outlook when it comes to achieving their own dreams.

My shortcomings should never become part of my daughter’s mindset. I am committed to always directing my words and actions in front of her with a positive perspective, ensuring she has the best tools available to her as she chases her dreams. Now coffee ….

This has become mantra for everything in life. I’ve realized that without practice virtually nothing can set in me as new or as growth.
Whether it’s falling love, keeping love, getting a mastery over an art form or finding a new habit to replace old ones with: practice is the one thing that gets everything else function to where we need it to be. Persistence does not create good habits or get us to succeed, practice does and because of practice we become persistent not the other way around.
So if you want to fall in love fall in love with the art of practice. Even in Love itself without practicing Live you are bound to get into a place of stagnation that eventually creates distance.

Here is PART 2 of a two part post with the next five ways to change your inner dialogues! The language we use to define things and give them meaning on a day to day basis is what determines the trajectory of our lives! And that script tends to be normally splattered with fear and negativity.
Rewriting your inner dialogue doesn’t have to feel like homework. Make it fun, laugh at yourself, and remember: your brain is trainable, even if it occasionally acts like a toddler on a sugar rush. I’ve tried as always to keep things humorous just gently reminding myself to never take myself too seriously!
If you ever have anything to add! Put it in the comment section. Always happy to learn!

First of all I thought I write this one in a verse format! Most poetry these days are thoughts spaced out to look like poems so I wanted to write a poem with actual verses and rhymes! Hope you like it and hope I do it justice.

As for the topic: It’s been an ongoing thing for me to find the romance in everything and that includes pain. If you haven’t gone through a breakup how will you ever truly understand love songs, romantic movies, summer- night walks and things you end up doing with your person before you separate from each other. Every single pain even death carries a weight that connects you to a memory or a song or a moment that brings tears, smiles or nostalgia and that’s what true romance is.
Have you ever had this? Have you ever got lost in a song remembering?
