Brandi Smith, Registered Psychologist I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta. I am experienced in providing psychotherapy children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families.

My passion is to support and assist individuals and their families dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, attachment, emotional trauma, grief and loss, relationship distress, abuse, family system dysfunction, and stress. My work history also includes supporting families and youth within the Child and Family Services System and residential treatment facilities. I have also worked with agi

ng clients and within the health services system. The focus of my practice is primarily Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. However I am also trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe that my clients have the capacity to generate happiness and health in their lives. My role in therapy is to work along side my clients in building this capacity and healing issues that stand in one's way.

Creating Solutions is excited to offer the Children of Divorce Intervention Program (CODIP) this February. It runs each Tuesday (February 3, 10, 17, & 24, 2026) from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at our office. This group supports children aged 9-11 years to manage the thoughts and feelings that come with this family transition.

Charlie Todd causes bizarre, hilarious, and unexpected public scenes: Seventy synchronized dancers in storefront windows, "ghostbusters" running through the New York Public Library, and the annual no-pants subway ride. His group, Improv Everywhere, uses these scenes to bring people together.

The family of Brent and Nicole Keryluke has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support since the young couple died in a motorcycle crash. On Saturday, what happened at a car auction in Red Deer floored them.
