Kelly Moore is a Holistic Health Practitioner originally from Fort McMurray, now happily rooted in Edmonton, where years of connection and community have grown into a second family. She enjoys spending her free time out in the garden, reading a good book, crafting healing bath salts, body scrubs and creams, or out wandering in nature

What is your unique approach to healing?
My focus is on Instrumental Biocommunication— a cutting-edge approach that uses technology to create a personalized care plan for each client. By listening to your body’s unique energy signatures, we can identify and address disharmonies at their root. 

What book do you find yourself returning to over the years? 
I always return to “The Secret Life of Plants.” It beautifully explores the interconnectedness of all living things and the unseen consciousness that surrounds us.

What’s a fun fact about you?
I’ve been a geek for the science of healing since I was young, specifically obsessed with understanding spontaneous remissions and miraculous healings. That lifelong curiosity is now my life’s work.  

What’s your favorite modality? 
Hands down, Instrumental Biocommunication. It was the missing piece that transformed my practice and my own life. It provides such precise insight that our treatment plans are now deeply personalized. It completely changed how I see healing, proving that the body’s energy is a logical, measurable system we can actually communicate with.

Myofascial cupping uses gentle negative pressure to lift and decompress the layers of fascia, muscle, and skin — helping to restore movement and improve circulation.

Research shows:
• Cupping increases local blood flow and supports lymphatic drainage, helping tissues receive more oxygen and nutrients. (Frontiers in Bioengineering, 2020)
• It can improve soft tissue compliance and reduce pain in people with myofascial pain syndromes. (Chiu et al., 2020 – PLOS One)
• Studies suggest measurable short-term improvements in pain, mobility, and recovery for conditions like low back or neck tension. (Wang et al., 2023; Cramer et al., 2020)
• Mechanistically, the lifting of fascia may activate mechanoreceptors and sensory nerve endings, promoting a gentle parasympathetic (relaxation) response in the nervous system. (Al-Bedah et al., 2018)

Here’s the deal: when you drift into the space of a relaxing massage, your nervous system shifts. Heart rate slows, blood pressure drops, stress-hormones like cortisol and norepinephrine go down, while “feel-good” chemicals like serotonin, dopamine and oxytocin go up.

If you’re curious about RAPID, but not sure what to expect. Here’s a quick breakdown:

• Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing (e.g. gym wear)
• First session ~ 45 min (assessment + treatment)
• Follow-ups ~ 30–45 min
•The therapist will assess and palpate areas based on your concerns.
•Specific tension is then applied, usually in combination with an active movement.
•Tenderness and discomfort is common during the treatment
•Most people notice relief, better movement, and less tension right after the session
•Soreness after the session is normal

Sam has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2007. She grew up in Happy Valley–Goose Bay, Labrador, and has happily settled in Edmonton with her husband James, their four-year-old daughter, and their cat & dog. 🤍

What drew you to healing work?
I grew up watching my mom suffer from a chronic illness and the side effects of medical treatment, so I’ve always had a drive and passion to help
