There’s a lot of pressure this time of year to set goals, reset everything, and “start fresh.”

🌿 But growth rarely happens on a deadline.

You might choose to take a breath and notice what feels manageable, without adding the stress of timelines or expectations.

Your feelings are understandable.

Toxic positivity dismisses your real experience. This January, swap “just be positive” for tools that actually work:

Validate First: Acknowledge it’s okay to feel uncomfortable.

Name it to Tame it: Identify the emotion to reduce its power.

Find a Safe Space: Process feelings with gentleness, not pressure.

🎨 No art experience needed. 👉 Tap the link in our bio for group details.

Tired of your inner critic running the show? 🧠✨

We are often our own harshest judges. We use words like “should” that create a cycle of pressure and shame. But what if you treated yourself with the same warmth you’d give a dear friend?

Try these 3 shifts today:

Replace “Should” with “Could” to give yourself back your choice.

Practice Validation First. Acknowledge the feeling as real—it’s okay to feel this way.

Use Non-Verbal Expression. When words feel heavy, use art to bypass the verbal filter and release stored tension.

Our Creating Calm group is a safe, non-judgmental space to practice these tools in community.

More than just a “mental” health group.

“When do you feel detached, disconnected, or shut down?”. In our Creating Calm group, Charity Lui guides you through a somatic journey to answer that very question.

This isn’t just about talking; it’s about creating a visual map of your nervous system. We explore:

Window of Tolerance: To understand when you feel overwhelmed or shut down.

Calm Safe Place: To reconnect with sensations of joy and relaxation.

The Elements: Using earth, air, fire, and water to find balance.

Body Mapping: To tune into where you hold tension and stress.

Join Charity this January for a four-week journey designed to help you reconnect with yourself.

Your body is trying to tell you something.

The racing heart. The tight chest. The 2 AM wake-up calls. Anxiety isn’t just in your head—it’s a physical experience that “thinking your way out of” won’t solve.

In our Creating Calm group, we use an expressive arts approach to bypass the overthinking mind and help your nervous system find its way back to safety.
