Water play (including the hose), children’s pool, sand and dirt play – a mud kitchen with strainers, muffin tins and other kitchen utensils, sand play, sticks, rocks, leaves, grass – it’s all welcome! Gathering time – singing songs, playing instruments, puppets, stories
Crafting – painting (water colour, chalk, acrylic), molding beeswax, clay, guided crafts and free crafting for self-discovery
Den/fort building
Climbing! Trees, play equipment – anything within a safe limit except each other! Play silks – different sizes for a variety of uses – forts, playing dress up, wrapping up dolls etc. Attendance at library programs, community events, Telus world of science, and also field trips to the zoo, swimming and nature centres
Learning through play, self-discovery, and teacher led activities through a variety of mediums. Encouragement of investigation, collaboration and curiosity to learn as an individual and as a group, teaching how to love and appreciate themselves, others and the planet
All food is fresh, homemade and extremely healthy – no junk food or highly processed pre-packaged food
