Hope your long weekend was great! Gord and I headed to our happy place—the mountains. We hiked to Grassi Lakes and found a beautiful bench dedicated to a couple from my church back in Calgary. After enjoying the view and a quick rest, we trekked back down the icy paths. Such a refreshing few days!

It was exactly one year ago today that I found out Epicure had gone bankrupt. It’s still hard to believe it actually happened; it all feels a little surreal.

Today is a reminder that while change is hard and life is unpredictable, everything turns out okay—even if things look (or taste!) a little different 😉. You just have to keep moving forward.

Thinking back to that day, I’m reminded of all the kindness you—my friends and customers—extended to me. It would have been a very different year without you. Thank you for sticking with me! 💕

The "Hostess with the Most-ish" Spread
Forget the "hostess with the mostess" stress—I'm going with the hostess with the most-ish energy tonight! 😆

When you're short on time but refuse to show up empty-handed to Cookies & Cards night, you improvise! 🏃‍♀️💨 I raided the fridge and turned my everyday staples into a total crowd-pleaser. 😋

🥕 The Quick-Fix Menu:
The Base: Plain Greek yogurt + mayo
The Flavors: (1) 🥒 Dill Pickle and, (2) 🧅 Everything Onion (because... obviously)
The Sides: Whatever veggies were hanging out in the crisper! 🫑🥕🥒

Healthy, tasty, and took me about ten minutes to throw together. Now, let’s see if my card-making goes as well as the dip!

I made up some immune booster morning shots for Gord and I. Want to give us a little extra to keep us healthy through this cold season. The ginger has some bite 😋

Immune Booster Morning Shot

2 lemons, sliced (peels on!)
1 orange, sliced (peels on!)
1 chunk fresh ginger, chopped
4 Tbsp honey
6 cups water
½–1 tsp Golden Booster

Chop everything, toss it into a large blender, add water and honey last. Blend well. Pour through a fine sieve into a large measuring cup and really squish out all that good juice.

Store in the fridge and enjoy 2 shot glasses every morning.

Tip: Add the Golden Booster directly into the jars so nothing gets wasted!
