I have been getting this question from a lot of people so I thought I would drop a post.

SHORT ANSWER... I don't know.

LONG ANSWER...

Before Epicure closed on January 23 and I was a consultant, orders usually shipped within a week or two. I was able to go into my Epicure back office and track the progress from pending, to processing, to shipped. When it shipped it provided me with a tracking number.

Now that Epicure is no longer in business, and I am no longer a consultant, I have no access to back office information. I can't see any of my business records either.

MNP is the trustee liquidating Epicure's inventory through the website epicure.com. I know that many of you placed orders through the site. I also placed a few orders on January 31. When I placed an order, I received an email confirmation with the details of my order. The only info available when I log on to epicure.com (how you would have done when you placed your order) is whether my order is pending, processing or shipped. No other information is available.

I will mention, that I did have one of my orders marked shipped. It was an order with only ONE product (so very simple). I received a second email with my tracking number and it actually arrived today.

The other orders are still marked pending and processing. I have no idea how long it will take for these orders to ship or any of your orders. The Epicure home staff was let go on January 23 with the rest of us. MNP is working with a very small staff (I heard rumours of 4 people) who are trying to pack and ship as quickly as possible. As you can imagine, there are probably 1000s of orders. Everyone trying to get their hands on Epicure products before they are gone!

For me, seeing that there are 7 spices in the taco blend, it only made me want my Epicure more. Epicure sure made it easy to bring a variety of flavours into my meals.

I just received an email from Epicure. I'm not even able to get on the website (spinning wheel). There are probably 1,000s of people trying to get on it.

I don't think you should wait for me to order a "group" order, as I may never get on. Sorry that I can't do more.

If you get through, I would suggest just placing your order.

Interesting. My sister Cathy made chicken wings at Christmas with seasoned salt in the air fryer. So delicious!! Might have to try this. Looks simple enough.

Commercial seasoned salts are OK, but if you have 5 minutes, you can make fresher, more interesting blends yourself. We like it just as much as a seasoning for meats as we do on vegetables, salads, rice, and pasta. 🧂

Yup. Sad news today. It looks like Epicure may have closed its doors today.

I'm not sure what this means for any outstanding orders. I can't get onto the system to see if they are with FedEx or not. Please be patient. I will share when I know more.

I do want to say the biggest thank you to all of you who have supported me and my business over the last 17 years.

We liked the stew. Gord enjoyed two bowls. We both agreed that it needed a little salt and pepper. But, the pressure cooker was quick and the beef just fell apart!!

I thought with the cornstarch that it would be more gravy-like, but I prefer it this way. It did thicken up a little as it sat... we were just impatient.

Will definitely make this again 😋

Who likes to try new dishes? I sure do! Tonight I am trying Epicure's new Classic Beef Stew. I had to use the ingredient I can never pronounce - worcestershire sauce 🤪

It is now in the Instant Pot coming up to temp. It smells completely different than the Hearty Beef Stew Epicure used to carry, but same simple ingredients and prep needed.

Stay tuned. I will share a pic of how mine turns out and what we think.
