No time to work out? We get it - parenting is a full-time workout on its own.
But here's the thing: movement doesn't have to be formal to count. Get the kids involved and make it fun:

🎢 Living room dance parties (Spotify has great kids' playlists)
🚢 Stroller walks around the neighbourhood
🚴 Family bike rides (River Valley trails are perfect)
🏞️ Park play + parent squats, lunges, or push-ups on the bench

MYTH: "If it doesn't hurt, it's not helping." 🚫
TRUTH: Pain is not a badge of honor. If something hurts during exercise or treatment, your body is telling you to stop or modify. Effective rehabilitation should challenge you - not injure you.

Good pain = muscle fatigue, mild discomfort, "working" sensation
Bad pain = sharp, shooting, or pain that gets worse

We know, we know, everyone tells you to hydrate. But here's why it actually matters for your physical health:

β†’ Dehydration makes muscles cramp and tighten
β†’ It slows down recovery and healing
β†’ It affects your energy, focus, and how your joints feel
β†’ Even mild dehydration can increase pain sensitivity

Here's the thing: wearing the wrong shoes during this transition period can actually lead to slips, falls, and foot/ankle injuries. A few tips:
