To practice Warrior I, start from a lunge, plant your back heel at a 45-degree angle, and square your hips forward. Mountain Pose is the foundational standing posture in yoga. While it may look like simply "standing still," it is an active, mindful pose designed to improve posture, balance, and mental focus.

To practice Mountain Pose, stand tall with your weight evenly distributed and legs engaged, keeping your pelvis neutral and your spine lengthening toward the sky. Relax your shoulders down, open your chest with palms facing forward, and breathe deeply to find a sense of steady, mountain-like grounding.
