Hi, I’m Jenn, an acupuncturist and longtime yoga teacher with a whole-body approach to healing. I love to work with nervous system regulation and mind-body connection to address a variety of conditions. Through a mix of modalities, I’m able to support pain management and mental health, to digestion, allergies, and womxn’s health. My goal is to always leave my clients feeling grounded and supported — like you’ve taken a biiig easeful exhale.

With over a decade of experience in functional movement, I’m passionate about supporting clients through injuries — both chronic and acute — and helping them build strength for a long, healthy life. Keep an eye out for upcoming treatments that will combine acupuncture with personalized movement plans.

On the weekend you can find me brunching at Dog Patch or enjoying a slow day at home making soup, with my cat Bubbles by my side.

Paul Adachi, RMT is a massage therapist with over a decade of experience. Paul aims to create space for recovery and rest. As the second half of Adachi Acupuncture & Wellness (), he’s more recently begun to specialize in issues related to the neck and scalp, including headaches and poor sleep. Clients seek him out because of his calm and quiet nature, perfect for those looking to slow down and regulate.

On a Sunday, he’s likely with his daughter at a rink somewhere in the city, tightening straps on her goalie pads before he sets up shop in the stands or in the timekeeper box.

We use laser therapy (also known as photobiomodulation, if you’re feeling fancy) alongside acupuncture and massage to support tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and nudge your body into deeper healing.

What kinds of things have we used it for?
Here’s a little highlight reel:
• Fertility
• Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
• Fibromyalgia
• Lymphedema
• Plantar Fasciitis
• Endometriosis..and honestly, the list goes on.

It’s gentle, non-invasive, and surprisingly effective, especially when layered into a bigger treatment plan.

Curious if it might help with something you’re navigating? Send me a message

Why focus on just one piece of the puzzle when the whole picture matters?

We take a holistic approach—because your body is a system, not a collection of separate parts. That means we use multiple modalities in combination (like Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, and laser therapy) to treat more efficiently and more effectively.

It’s not one-size-fits-all. It’s results-oriented, person-specific care—tailored to how *you* show up on any given day.

On a Sunday, you’re likely to find her plugging away at manuscript edits or with a piping bag, adding finishing touches on a cake to bring along to a family gathering.

Spring is a time of movement!

(Not just the “go for a jog” kind, but the body-on-a-cellular-level kind.)

As we thaw out from winter and the sun starts making more regular appearances, it’s totally normal to feel a little sluggish in the transition. Your body’s adjusting—circulation is picking up, systems are waking up, and sometimes that takes a bit of support.

Acupuncture or laser can help nudge things along—boosting circulation, easing inflammation, and giving you a bit more pep as you shake off winter.

Feeling a little slow out of the gate this season?

Totally normal. Reach out if you want to chat ideas for getting your energy moving again—I’m always here for it.

In Chinese Medicine, spring is all about the liver and gallbladder—organs that thrive when things are moving smoothly (energetically and digestion-wise). This season is associated with the Wood element, which governs growth, movement, and renewal, basically nature’s green light to get things flowing again.

One easy way to honour the shift? Load up on fresh greens, sprouts, and bitter foods like kale and dandelion.
Your liver loves a little bitterness (this flavour helps to clear and cool)—it’s like a wake-up call after a winter of comfort food and cozy carbs.

So here’s to spring, to fresh starts, leafy greens, and feeling just a little more alive in your body again.

Happy Spring, friends 🌱

Spring cleaning... but for your body?

Yep, it’s a thing.

If you’re looking to support your immune system this spring, now’s a great time to show your liver a little love.

(Dandelion root and milk thistle are basically the herbal version of a deep clean.)

Add in acupuncture—or laser if you’re into the gentle zap approach—and you’ve got a solid strategy to help your body stay resilient and responsive as the seasons shift.

Curious if this might be right for you? Shoot me a message—I’m always happy to chat acupuncture and immunity over a cup of something warm.

Feeling a little stiff and creaky after that long, cold winter?
… same here.

Cupping might just be the thing your muscles are asking for (politely... or not so politely).

It works by increasing blood flow to the area—bringing in fresh nutrients to support healing and helping clear out the gunk that’s contributing to tension and soreness. It’s especially lovely when paired with acupuncture or massage, giving your body multiple ways to release and reset.

Still carrying winter in your shoulders? Cupping’s got your back—literally.

One of my favorite things to focus on is nervous system regulation - helping your body shift from that constant "fight or flight" to a parasympathetic state of "rest and digest (or restore)." This means working with stress relief, emotional balance and even hormone regulation. I use acupuncture to meet your body where it is at, and help remind it of its natural rhythm! I'm here to help you feel more grounded, balanced and in tune with yourself.

On a Sunday you are likely to find me on a forest adventure, among the trees getting some much needed nourishment with the people who feed my soul and bring me joy!

Sonia and Amanda work together to serve the patients of Amanda Roth Acupuncture. Sonia is in the shared Scona Collective space Wednesdays and Fridays offering acupuncture and laser therapy.

Did you know April is Stress Awareness Month?
..because apparently we need a reminder that modern life is a bit much.

Chronic stress ramps up cortisol (your stress hormone), which can throw several of your body’s systems out of whack—nervous system, digestion, hormones, sleep… basically, a stress parade no one asked for.

In clinic, we tackle this from a few angles:

- Acupuncture to calm the nervous system
- Herbal medicine to support from the inside out
- Massage to get those tense knots to unclench already

Together, these elements create a treatment plan that works with your body to bring things back into balance (and maybe even prevent that tension headache before it shows up to ruin your day).

Curious about how it all fits together for *you*?

Book a session and let’s create a plan that actually makes sense for your body and your life.
