🎉🎂 Happy 4th Birthday to Freddie the Social Worker Cat! 🐾🎈

This week we celebrated our beloved companion Freddie at Grace Village with a very special ice cream cake! 🍰🐱 Residents sang “Happy Birthday” to him by meowing 🎶🐾 — and Freddie soaked up every moment, purring happily and going up to everyone for scratches. 💕

He was spoiled with his favorite cat treats as gifts, and the fun didn’t stop there — residents enjoyed Freddie-themed trivia and coloured pictures of our birthday boy. 🖍️🎉

Freddie has brought so much love, laughter, and comfort to the residents, and it was heartwarming to see everyone celebrate this milestone together. Here’s to many more years of purrs, cuddles, and joy with our special Social Worker Cat! ✨💖

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Amanda 🌟

Amanda is dedicated to ensuring residents feel supported, safe, and cared for every single day. She goes above and beyond to assist with their daily needs—helping with laundry, making sure no one misses meals, keeping walkers and personal items clean, and encouraging residents to maintain tidy living spaces.

Her compassion and reliability have built deep trust with residents, who often seek her out for support and guidance. Amanda’s attention to detail, proactive approach, and clear communication make her an invaluable member of the team. Her efforts, often behind the scenes, are recognized by her manager, social workers, recreation staff, and even Alberta Health Services personnel who work on site.

We are grateful for Amanda’s dedication and for the positive, caring environment she helps create every day. 💙
