I was relaxing outside in the sun earlier, and it was a little bit breezy, but not very strong. As I was sitting there, I had my eyes closed, and I started to notice how I would hear the wind coming before I would feel it. It made me think of how our senses and our intuition comes to us also. 🌱

Often it can come through a mix of our senses, not just one. Of course, one might be stronger, but sometimes it can be a feeling followed by hearing something. Sometimes it can be seeing something followed by tasting something. It can come in so many different combinations. 🗝️

Something to be mindful of and pay attention to - and remember that intuition is something that comes to you. It is not something you go looking for. Just as answers generally come to us when we are not searching for them. They come in the gaps and the spaces… allow yourself some breathing room… stay open and curious. ✨

If you’re having trouble being present, feeling overwhelmed, or just not yourself please reach out. I don’t request people to share a history, I so share with you what comes and through the awareness your system gains capacity and balance. Letting you get healthier and back to you again. I was meditating the other day and I must have slipped into “the gap” because as I was becoming aware I realized I didn’t know the time of day or what I was supposed to be doing (if I was asleep or missing something), so I peeked at my timer once I realized what was happening - it had only been 9 minutes. ⏰

I find the more tired I am, often the deeper I go. Not sleeping - but sometimes sleep does happen too. I can usually tell if I’ve fallen asleep by if I am leaning over. This is also why I suggest that you don’t lie down to mediate- be comfy, but not too comfy. The more stressed I am, the more I think. 💭

These are simply things that can and will happen. Not a win or a fail, just part of the meditation practice. So I went back to finish out my timer and then came back into my day. Each meditation may vary, that is ok. This is why it is called a practice. It is not about perfection. 🥰

It is something that will help give you more space in your responses, more capacity in your system, help you make better decisions, not to mention the physical support too, the benefits are really endless. DM if you need more of this in your life. 💫❤️💫

I was at an event on the weekend and some things were not super clear, some issues, unexpected things, etc. and another parent was getting quite worked up and he looked at me and said how calm I was. I said “I teach meditation”, he laughed. Later he asked me “does that stuff really work?”(meditation) (he said he runs quite anxious energy). I said “you’re the one who noticed how calm I am.”

So does it work? Yes. Does it make life perfect? No. Does it make hard things go away? No. But it does give you more capacity to handle things. More space to respond vs react. More presence and awareness in your day (who doesn’t want that?). And more peace, especially when you need an anchor. Zoom or in person sessions available by request, individual or group. DM with inquiries. ✨🙏🏼💛
