You always see beautiful images of breastfeeding momma's feeding their littles, especially this past week with World Breastfeeding Week, and I 100% FULLY support and cheer on these mommas. However, if I never see another post shaming a mother for bottle/formula feeding it will be too soon. The struggles that mom's go through when they are unable to breast feed because of their milk supply is unreal. It's not a matter of "giving up" or "not trying long enough". You can only pump your dang b***s for so long with little to no milk coming out before you lose your mind. Or the mom's who simply choose to use formula because that is what works best for their family. WHO GIVES A CRAP. Feeding and nourishing your newborn and watching them grow no matter how you chose to do it is a beautiful thing and we should all be applauded, because Lord knows just trying to survive that newborn stage on 3 hours of sleep is a victory in itself!
