I’ve spent most of my healthcare career caring for seniors
first in their homes, and later in long-term care. I started as a health care aide when I was seventeen.
Over the years, I’ve seen things that have stayed with me.
Wounds that never should have happened.
Infections that could have been prevented.
Pain that could have been avoided…
if someone had just been there to look a little closer.
That’s why I do this.
Because foot care isn’t just about nails,
it’s about prevention, dignity, and preserving quality of life.
But it’s also something more than that.
When I come into your home, I’m not just there to provide care.
I’m there to sit, to listen, to talk… to truly connect.
Because I’ve also seen the loneliness.
The quiet moments.
The times when our loved ones are simply hoping for someone to sit with them for a while.
Your parents.
Your grandparents.
Your great-grandparents.
They deserve to feel cared for,
to feel seen, comfortable, and valued.
And it’s something I never take lightly.
It’s an honour to be trusted with the care of the people who matter most to you. 🤍
