The VETS Group is a combination of Canadian construction service companies started in 1921 by a WW1 veteran. A purpose of providing healthy and comfortable environments for all clients unites VETS Sheet Metal, Facility Services, Mechanical, Electrical and dust abatement specialist, AirTek Pneumatics.

Another year, another Playoff Season!!

To show our appreciation to our team, we held a draw for GAME 3 tickets on Friday, April 25, which were won by... Tyler H 🎉🎉

Here's the story that he submitted to enter the draw and a few pics of him enjoying the game:

My core value story is . A few weeks ago we had a large estimating project come through that had a very tight timeline, it was not feasible to have completed by one estimator in the time allowed. We got together with the Burnaby office and split the project up between 5 of us across 2 divisions, we worked pretty quickly to get this estimate together and out the door on time.
It was nice to see everyone pull together to get this job done.

Today is Schroeder Day at recognizing over 80 years of Schroeder involvement with us!

These days, it's rare to find someone spend more than a handful of years with one company, but in December 2022 Dave Schroeder retired after 44 years with VETS! Dave's uncle, Bill Schroeder, also retired from our company with over 37 years of service!

The Schroeders' unwavering commitment to VETS is certainly worthy of a commemorative day, and to further their family, and one of Dave's favourite annual vacation spots, our team wore Hawaiian shirt in celebration of them.

The end of winter is (hopefully!) here and to celebrate our Burnaby team had their first surprise hot dog lunch of the year!

The unique shack pictured with hockey sticks and old sports' photos gives the perfect backyard feel to host hot dog lunches during the spring, summer and early fall months giving our a chance to catch up and share a few laughs.
