Our focus remains to be providing support and options to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy or parenting but struggling and wanting a different life for their child. As well, we support those dealing with fertility loss and considering their options in realizing their dreams of having a family. We work with all community agencies and organizations to bridge resources and meet our clients needs.

Hi! My name is Jacinda, and I am a practicum student at the Calgary Adoption Options location. ✨

I previously completed a degree in Psychology and am currently completing a Bachelor of Social Work with a specialization in child welfare.

I became interested in social work through my academic and personal experiences, which highlighted the importance of compassionate, trauma-informed, and strengths-based support for children and families navigating complex systems. I am especially interested in work that centers on connection, dignity, and long-term well-being.

Outside of school and practicum, I enjoy reading and spending time in nature with friends, which helps me recharge and stay grounded.
