As a first responder organization, AlphaMEDICS is always looking for ways to help out our fellow colleagues, regardless of geographic location.

We learned of this story from a BC Paramedic and good friend, and we immediately realized that this story needs to be told…and quick!!

24 year old BC Paramedic, Shaena, is currently in for the fight of her life, and she needs our help!

Shaena was recently diagnosed with cancer and is currently unable to work her shifts as a Paramedic in the Vancouver area. At 24 years old, she still has much of her life ahead of her, and due to her status as a casual employee, she does not qualify for benefits through her employer. As you can imagine, the costs of living in today’s world is high at the best of times, let alone in the situation she is dealing with!

This everyday hero needs the community’s help, and AlphaMEDICS is trying to do our part to help Shaena through her fight with Cancer! Please consider donating what you can, and share this GoFundMe link with your friends, family and colleagues. Together we can help this First Responder beat cancer and get back to work serving her community!

In Evansburg, Wildwood, and surrounding areas in Yellowhead County, our friends, family, and neighbors have faced an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating fire has ravaged our community, leaving homes in ashes, businesses suffering, and many people facing uncertainty. In these challenging times, we must unite to help our neighbors rebuild their lives. That's why I, Josh Fausak, have started this GoFundMe campaign: United for Our Community. The Womp ground were luckily unscathed

The fire has profoundly impacted many families, with some losing everything. The emotional and physical toll is immense. For those without insurance, recovery is even more daunting. Now is the time to show the true meaning of community by supporting those most in need.

This GoFundMe campaign will directly help families and individuals affected by the fire, providing essential items like clothing, food, and shelter, and assisting with rebuilding homes and businesses. Every dollar makes a difference.

We ask you to consider donating to this important cause. No amount is too small, and every contribution will tangibly impact those affected. United for Our Community is about coming together, demonstrating compassion, and ensuring our friends and neighbors can rise from the ashes.

In addition to financial donations, we encourage offering time, skills, and resources to help those in need. If you have a service or skill that could assist, please reach out. Together, we can make a real difference and restore our community's vibrant spirit.

Thank you for your generosity and support. If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with friends, family, and social networks to spread the word and maximize our impact. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by this devastating fire, helping them rebuild a brighter future.

United for Our Community, we stand with you.

Love The Womp
