Cushing's syndrome is a common concern for many owners of older horses. It is caused by a benign tumor in the pituitary gland, which leads to an overproduction of hormones like ACTH.

A flower essence can be very helpful in this case. It has been used successfully in both humans and horses.

A horse owner contacted me to ask if I could help her horse with Cushing's. We integrated this flower essence into the existing mixture. An improvement was visible after two months. The horse started shedding the long hair on its belly, which hadn't happened before the flower essence was administered. Five months after starting the flower essence, the coat was more uniform, with no long clumps hanging down.

What a success! The flower essences are true helpers for all sorts of things. They are easy to take or administer, and initial changes are usually noticeable after just five to seven days (emotionally), and after about one month for physical issues.

Flower essences and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) can be wonderfully combined. Each meridian has an Australian Bush Flower Essence and a Bach Flower Remedy blend that balance it. My training in TCM for horses provides me with a solid foundation to help both people and animals balance the meridians that need it.

Six years ago, I had the opportunity to use the combination of flower essences and TCM on several horses. The changes in each horse's behavior were remarkable.

Our hectic daily lives place many demands on our bodies, and it's not uncommon for meridians to become unbalanced. The flower essences offer gentle support in these situations.

Today I would like to introduce flower essences in more detail.

Flower essences are made from the blossoms of trees, cacti, or flowers. During the production process, the healing information from the blossoms is transferred into the water, which then creates the so-called stock essence.

The essences are used for emotional, physical, and spiritual imbalances.

Dr. Edward Bach, founder of Bach Flower Remedies, recognized that when the soul is out of balance for an extended period, the body develops symptoms that we perceive as illness.

By treating these emotional imbalances, the body can heal.

The flower essences stimulate the body to heal itself. Initial changes in emotional imbalances are usually noticeable after 5 to 7 days.

Physical imbalances can be treated with Australian Bush Flower Essences; a course of at least one month is recommended.

The blends are tailored to the individual needs of people or animals. Each blend is unique.

Job hunting can sometimes be stressful. Especially in times like these, it's hard to even get an interview due to various factors.

I'm currently supporting someone in this situation with flower essences. She is feeling stressed, sad, and angry because of a recent incident.

What are belief systems?

These are sentences we heard as a child and made them our own. We believed them because it seemed true back then.
The little voice in our head that tells us what we can't do.
These sentences are still with us as an adult. In the time between being a child and now these belief systems proven to be true more than once. Am I right?

-- My horse does't like me, it runs away when I want to catch it.
-- I can't enter a competition because I won't be good enough
-- People will laugh at me and my horse because...

Sounds familiar?
What if you could leave all these lies behind you? Because that's what they are – LIES.

The horse, mentioned above, probabely tested you. Most likely it did it before. So, you took that „personal“ and came to the conclusion that your horse doesn't like you, something is wrong with you.

What if I tell you that the horse is mirroring your beliefs? You expect it to run away when it sees you, so that is what it does.

How about changing your thought process to:
Imagine your horse is coming towards you when you get to the gate.
WE GET, WHAT WE EXPECT!

Think back, what did you think when you went out to the pasture to catch your horse?

This little bird unfortunately flew in a window. I was able to treat it with the Emergency Essence and let it rest until it recovered.

2 hours later when I check on it, it recovered and flew away.

The Emergency Essence is used after accidents, crisis, stressful situations like exams or performances.
It can be applied to the skin or feathers or given orally.
