The most important thing we use our hearing for is communication, and communication is a two-person (or more!) activity.

Here are 5 tips for effective communication:
💜Face your loved one when speaking to them (and maintain eye contact).
💜Reduce background noise as much as possible.
💜Speak clearly and naturally when conversing.
💜Don't eat or chew gum while talking.
💜Be patient and give your loved one time to respond.

✨At Perfect Pitch Hearing, we encourage you to bring someone with you to your appointment. It is not uncommon for a friend or family member to notice things that you miss when it comes to your hearing loss.
