Our amazing team of Canadian Certified Pedorthist and Bracing Specialist are always striving to find new and innovative ways to help their patients! At Biotech we specialize in Pedorthic assessment and custom orthotic design. This year we are celebrating 20 years treating patients and manufacturing custom foot orthotics in the community. Biotech opened their clinic doors in 1997, before expanding the business in 1999 to include the orthotic lab they have today. It is a common misconception that foot orthotics and other related devices are only for those with foot pain. At Biotech, Pedorthic treatment encompasses more than just the feet. We strive to help with most lower limb issues including back, hip, knee, ankle and foot pain. Biotech serves a very diverse clientele ranging from athletes to industry. This includes children and adults of all ages, those with disabilities, medical illnesses and all those in-between. Common aliments such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, bunions, heel pain, knee arthritis, knee ligament injuries, diabetes, and stability issues are just a few examples of what we treat regularly. Biotech serves not only local clients, but also takes in work from clinics across the province and country. Our clinicians are all Canadian Certified Pedorthists; Brian Stoodley, and Dax Hooper are happy to help with assessment, gait analysis, foot orthotics, bracing, compression hosiery, specialty footwear, custom shoes, and over the counter solutions.
