You can take care of it by simply applying any oil to your foot or extreme cases Vaseline. This will help to soften and allow the skin to rejuvenate.

I wanted to share with you an update or the importance of caring for your feet.
As a PSW I had worn a fit bit and could walk in a shift of 8hrs 10 000 steps .
Needless to say My feet were sore and achy
Remedy of what used to feel better

Soak feet in warm water with lavender soap
Epson salts
Lather foot with extensive moisturizer
The ache left and my feet looked rosy and a bonus clean

Wishing you and your family a wonderful Happy New Year. I feel this is a year of opportunity and change for the better. Last year was long for everyone and a bit wearing on the soul. But I have decided to look past the negative and focus on the goodness of work, caring for others and puting your best foot forward.

Foot Care tip- for those with very thick and overgrown nails soak your feet for 15min in warm water with epson salts as this will soften the nail plate, outer nail. Invest in a a good nail cutter that you can purchase in Shoppers Drugmart for $19.99. A bit expensive, looks like a pair of plyers, but this will help in keeping your feet happy and healthy.

As a pedicurist, I wanted to share with you some tips for healthy feet during winter months.
IF THE SHOE FITS WEAR IT-proper shoes/boots protect your feet from blisters and calluses
WATCH FOR ICE AND SNOW- losing your footing while walking on a patch of ice can cause injury to ankles
LISTEN TO YOUR FEET-foot pain can be caused by ingrown tails, bruising, swelling, blisters or calluses
BE PEDICURE SAFETY CONSCIOUS-reduce your risk of bacterial infection ex. MRSA by choosing a salon that has proper sanitation practices and is certified

Always be good to your feet.
