Surreal. If the Universe could speak plain English right now … (because it does speak to us all the time! Just not in English, and usually we’re not paying attention/listening…) it might be saying something like this to me:

Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!

Today, I am making a bucket list dream come true.

It’s something I put on a vision board that I made about 6-6.5 years ago … it was a vision board that included magic, connection, flow and horses!! As well as a few other things - none of which I could even *conceive* of having in my life at that point.

I literally could not conjure up of how any of them could happen… (but thats not our job when we’re co-creating/manifesting… we just need to know what we want, and believe its possible… the universe takes care of the”how”!!)

Lo and behold a few months ago I realized that every single one of the things on that board had happened/come true - except one. Except the biggest most audacious one.

So I made it happen. And it happens to be happening TODAY 😳🤯🫣🤗🤩🥳

I literally cannot believe it. Yet here it is …

Stay tuned, because this one is going to be a good story!!!

✨Suffering as a Sacred Teacher✨
In nearly every spiritual tradition, suffering isn’t seen as punishment — it’s seen as initiation. 🌙 From the dark night of the soul to the trials of the Buddha beneath the Bodhi tree, pain has always been a teacher, not an enemy.
True healing asks us to face our suffering, not avoid it. Trauma lives in the body — in the nervous system that once had to protect us. When we begin to regulate our nervous system through breath, grounding, and presence, we aren’t “getting rid” of the past… we’re teaching our body that it’s finally safe to live in peace.
Growth doesn’t happen in constant comfort — it happens when we meet our discomfort with compassion. When we integrate both shadow and light, we reclaim our wholeness. 🌿
Your suffering doesn’t define you. It refines you.
Your healing isn’t weakness. It’s warrior work. ⚡

I am just 💯 filled up with gratitude today …I had a heart touching session with my first client where by the end we were both crying tears of gratitude and release, and connected in such a deep space of healing - then with my second client, she had a huge epiphany about a long standing pattern of fear (big epiphanies are the best … they set people on the path of liberation ❤️💫) and then? Then I found myself sitting on my couch crying in gratitude.

10 (ish) years ago I was living on welfare putting myself through university with no support. 5 (ish) years ago I was leaving a toxic marriage. Today?

Today I sit in my own home (sure I rent it, but I pay the rent on my own and we love it!!), with my own business, the freedom to create my own schedule, a wonderful 12 year old who is the most awesome combo of smart, sassy, funny, and grounded, and in just one week from today, I’m making a bucket list dream come true … it’s so incredible I can’t even believe it’s happening.

Never ever think you can’t have a whole new life if you want one … ❤️ sure it takes work, but it’s a better kind of work than “biting the bullet” is, because it actually gets you the life you want (which biting the bullet never does).

Dream. Put in the work. Walk one foot infront of the other and keep moving in the right direction - whether it’s tiny gains one day, and huge gains the next, as long as you’re moving in the right direction you’re going to get there.

And I’m going to be so fu***ng happy for you 💖

💫 STRESS isn’t the enemy — it’s information.
Your body is speaking through your nervous system, letting you know when something feels unsafe, uncertain, or out of alignment.
When you learn to regulate your nervous system — through breath, movement, grounding, or mindful awareness — you shift from reactivity to resourcefulness. 🧠✨
From that calm, centered space, problem solving becomes intuitive instead of frantic. The answers flow, creativity returns, and your inner wisdom gets louder than the noise.
Remember: you can’t think your way out of dysregulation — you have to feel your way back to safety first.

🌿 Your nervous system doesn’t need to “push through” — it needs to recover.
When we constantly push past exhaustion, anxiety, or stress, we’re not building resilience — we’re teaching our bodies that safety doesn’t exist.
True healing happens when the nervous system feels safe enough to rest, reconnect, and recharge.
Coping mechanisms like “just get on with it” might get you through the day… but they also keep your system stuck in survival mode.
Full recovery isn’t weakness — it’s wisdom. 💚

🌿 Get to know your nervous system — it’s the language your body speaks.
Before you can calm it, you have to understand it.
Your nervous system tells you when you’re safe, when you’re in danger, and when you need rest — long before your mind catches up.
✨ Start paying attention to your own cues:
Do you tense your shoulders when stressed?
Does your breath get shallow when overwhelmed?
Do you shut down when you feel too much?
These aren’t flaws — they’re messages.
When you learn your body’s unique patterns, you can begin to meet them with compassion instead of frustration. That’s the real regulation — not forcing calm, but building safety within yourself. 💛

When your nervous system is dysregulated, even small stressors can feel overwhelming. You might find yourself stuck in overthinking, exhaustion, anxiety, or chronic tension — because your body’s still living in survival mode.
Nervous system work isn’t just about feeling calm. It’s about rewiring your body’s baseline so safety, clarity, and ease become your new normal.
When you learn to regulate your system:

💫 Nervous System Work + Confidence: You Can’t Just Talk About It
You can read all the books.
You can learn every breathwork technique.
You can understand why your body reacts the way it does…
But none of that rewires your nervous system until you live it.
Confidence isn’t built in theory — it’s built in experience.
It’s built when you speak up even though your voice shakes.
When you stay present during discomfort instead of shutting down.
When you try, fail, repair, and try again.
That’s the real nervous system work — not escaping the real world, but meeting it with a regulated, resilient body.

I took a solo day trip into the city for the National Menopause Show today— part of my continued learning journey (yes, alongside the three courses I’m currently in — when I’m in, I’m all in! 😅).

It was a beautiful and busy day — packed with information, people, noise, lights, movement… and it reminded me of something so many of us forget:

👉🏼 Stress doesn’t always show up as something big or catastrophic.

Sometimes it’s just a slow build — more noise than usual, visual clutter, too many conversations happening at once, unfamiliar environments… all adding up until suddenly you’re in a state of overwhelm, tension, or even fight-or-flight — without even realizing it.
This is why nervous system education is so powerful.

It’s not just for the big stressors or past traumas — it’s for the little moments too. The everyday experiences that tip us over our bandwidth and leave us feeling drained, reactive, or disconnected.

Being able to recognize that, and regulate through it, changed the way this day went for me. And that’s exactly why I’m so passionate about learning this — and sharing it.
