💆‍♀️ Ever feel dizzy or lightheaded after lying face down during a massage?

You’re not alone — this is actually quite common! When you’re lying face-down in the massage cradle, blood flow and pressure in your head and neck shift slightly. After a while, your body needs a moment to adjust when you sit up or stand. This is especially true if you’re a bit dehydrated or if your blood pressure runs low.

✨ A few tips to help:
• Take a few slow breaths before lifting your head.
• Move slowly when getting off the table.
• Drink some water after your session.

This little pause helps your body re-balance so you leave your massage feeling relaxed — not woozy. 🌿

✨ Tight Low Back? Try These Stretches! ✨

Whether you’ve been sitting at a desk, driving, or lifting, your lower back can start to feel stiff. Regular stretching keeps your muscles happy and helps prevent injury. 🧘‍♀️

Here are a few of my go-to moves:

✅ Child’s Pose – Kneel on the floor, sit back on your heels, and stretch your arms forward. Hold 30–60 seconds.

✅ Knee-to-Chest Stretch – Lie on your back, hug one or both knees to your chest, and gently rock side to side.

✅ Cat-Cow – From hands and knees, alternate arching your back up (cat) and dipping it down (cow). Great for mobility!

✅ Seated Forward Fold – Sit with legs straight and reach toward your toes. Keep your back relaxed.

✅ Figure-4 Stretch – Lie on your back, cross one ankle over the opposite knee, and gently pull the bottom leg in to stretch your glutes and low back.

💡 Tip: Move slowly, breathe deeply, and never push into pain. Consistency (even 5 minutes a day) makes the biggest difference!

I truly appreciate and prefer a payment method other than my pos machine—it helps small businesses like mine thrive.
I also direct bill to select insurance companies which means I don’t have to pay fees and you don’t have to pay with your own money!

If you have seen my fees I pay to the card processing company you'd probably cringe 🥴

I definitely will still have a debit and credit machine available if needed. But any total below $20 will only be accepted as a cash or EMT payment.

Also please bring the exact amount, i don’t always have change with me!

Remember to let go and relax during your treatment! 💚 When we have a lot on our minds, sometimes it can take a minute to decompress and clear your mind. Take a deep breath and remember that you deserve this time for yourself!

P.S. In many holistic health treatments, you're in a position to rest and digest, and a gurgling stomach simply confirms that you are truly relaxed. A noisy stomach is a normal bodily function and is nothing to be embarrassed about!

My Story

Hey everyone!

My name’s Rhiannon, I’ve practiced as a registered massage therapist for 3 years now. I graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapies in 2016 learning how to perform relaxation and assessment based therapeutic massage. Over the past 3 years I have also ventured in learning about hot stone massage, cupping therapy, and bamboo massage which are all different ways to help me help you with whatever you are dealing with. I would say my specialty is dealing with rotator cuff injuries or headache/migraine problems.
