As you meal prep for the week ahead, here’s the truth about carbs - they aren't always the problem… sometimes it’s a you problem. 🫶 😅
But don’t worry, no judgment here. Let me teach you how to use them better.
Carbs are fuel, no doubt about it - but constant grazing and eating carbs alone can lead to energy crashes and cravings. The good news is you don't have to restrict carbs, you just need to structure them accordingly.
Instead:
✔️ Place carbs around training
✔️ Pair carbs with a MVP teamate (spoiler, that teammate is protein)
✔️ Limit “naked carbs” (carbs eaten alone)
Protein + Carbs is always a better choice) over
“Naked carbs” (a solo piece of toast, muffin, or crackers).
Today’s action:
