Answer: Whatever you’re going through, you are not alone. 9-8-8 responders are here to help you find a way through, no matter what it is you are dealing with. No problem is too difficult – whatever you choose to share with us, we won’t judge you. If you’re not sure if you need help, please reach out to 9-8-8 – a responder will be there to listen and talk things through with you.

Happy weekend everyone! Don't forget the Spring Luncheon being held by the Eriksdale Hospital Guild tomorrow May 9 11:00-2:00 pm.
You can have a bunwich, homemade soup and dainties for $5.00.
Also hope you got your tickets for the spring dance, dinner and casino night. Should be a blast!
And I hope you all saw the posters around town for "Let no one be alone". You take a prescription ballot from the attached envelope and fill out the prescription. Fill out 5 of them and return the ballot to Eriksdale Community Resources by May 15th to be entered in a draw for a $100.00 gift card from the Manitoba Seniors association.
If the office is closed you can drop your ballot off in the mail slot on the building.

WRHA’s Diabetes Group Education Program offers a series of supportive classes designed to help you learn the essentials of living well with diabetes.

Topics include:
• understanding diabetes and medications
• healthy eating and meal planning

Mental Health Week is May 4-10

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance understanding of mental health and addiction-related challenges, and to increase awareness of support available to Manitobans, Shared Health’s Mental Health & Addictions (MHA) team is pleased to introduce our new series of informative, educational videos.

This series, developed by addiction and mental health professionals at Shared Health, along with patients and people with lived experience, explores the fundamentals of addictions, mental health, gambling, su***de prevention, and supporting families.

The series covers foundational information for the general public. The information will increase awareness of common mental health and addiction-related challenges, provide helpful tips and ideas to support someone who may be struggling, and provide resources for professional help.
