We’re partnering with Autism Ontario to host a 6-week cooking program! 💚💛

Windsor - Cooking Program
Monday Oct 20 - Nov 26

Autism Ontario is excited to partner with Behaviour Essential Inc and Big Spoons Little Spoons to offer an engaging 6-week cooking program! This unique experience is designed to help you develop cooking skills, and explore new flavours. Each week, participants will come together in a warm and welcoming environment to learn the art of cooking through hands-on experiences and shared culinary discoveries.

Group 1 - ages 8 - 12 years - 4:45 pm - 6:15 pm

That is a wrap on Summer 2025! It was such a fun and busy Summer filled with lots of learning and laughs. To allow our clients to transition back into a school routine and to give our team some time to complete training, team meetings, and organizing our centre, we will be closed for the first week of September! Wishing everyone a safe and fun filled Labour Day weekend and a smooth transition to school. We will re-open on Monday September 8th! 💛💚

Our new assessment has arrived! The Meaningful Outcomes Treatment and Assessment Scale (MOTAS) incorporates a caregiver/client interview, an interview for other professionals involved in the client’s care, and a direct assessment. All of these components guide treatment goals that are socially significant for the client and their family!

Today is the first day of our 5 week Lego group! Looking forward to seeing all of the creations that the kids make, learning new skills, making new friends, and most importantly, having fun! 💚💛

Although it was a gloomy Saturday, we’re hoping our new garden bed will bring some sun and warmth back! This spring and summer, our clients will be able to help plant some fruits and veggies, take care of the garden, and try some new foods or eat some foods that they already enjoy! A big thank you to our Clinical Supervisor’s husband for making this a reality (and most things in our centre a reality 😊).
