LIFE Day Respite Program Essex "LIFE" - Living in Friendship and Equality. We are a respite day program for people who are 19 and older and intellectually delayed.

We believe that everyone should participate in an active, functional day. You and your family members are our main concern

We are excited to provide community opportunities and prove a balance of inclusive events in our program. We want to support each person’s best abilities to have a functional day, inside and outside our building. Safety and personal achievements, along with extended growth is part of our focus. Our Mission:

This program is designed to enhance the development of adults, 19 years or older. It will provide daily life experiences that will guide each person to their best ability. It is our aim to assist families in knowing their loved ones have a safe, calm, comfortable place they can go to interact and cultivate their goals. Our Vision:

We will focus on all elements of a healthy life, including visits to the library, grocery shopping, physical and mental growth, therapeutic activities, culinary skills, and social skills. Our program has open communication with each member and their support individuals. Confidentiality, respect and dignity are most important to us at LIFE. Social Skills

• Pet therapy

• Cooking/baking
• Culinary activities

We also offer the same activities for:
