Community Living Essex County Providing supports to people with an intellectual disability and their families in Essex County.

Who We Are and What We Do:

Community Living Essex County, a not-for-profit charitable organization, has been committed to assisting people of all ages who have an intellectual disability and their families throughout Essex County since 1961. The goals of Community Living Essex County are that all persons can live in a state of dignity, share in all elements of living in the community, and have the opportunity to participate effectively. Community Living Essex County envisions a society where everyone belongs, has equality, respect, and acceptance. The gifts, uniqueness, and innate value of each individual are celebrated, supported, and acknowledged as essential to the completeness of the whole community. We help the community develop its capacity to welcome and support people who have not always had the same opportunities as the rest of us to participate in community life in meaningful, productive ways. Over 700 employees and many dedicated volunteers join together at Community Living Essex County to ensure that quality supports and opportunities are provided to people with intellectual disabilities in Essex County.

Last week, Anna and Janice attended Pumpkins After Dark at Storybook Gardens in London. 🎃
They enjoyed seeing the brightly lit pumpkins and festive lights and had a wonderful time making their way through the decorated gardens. The evening was filled with fun and spooky sights that captured the spirit of Halloween.
