Lower back pain isn’t just about “having a bad back.”
It’s often about habits. 👇

Here are things I always remind my patients:

• Stopping movement completely – Rest is important, but too much can make your back stiffer.
• Jumping back into heavy activity too quickly – Sudden increases in lifting, sports, or workouts can irritate the back again.
• Sitting for long periods without breaks – Your back doesn’t love being stuck in one position.
• Ignoring core and hip strength – Your lower back shouldn’t do all the work.
• Poor lifting habits – Bending and twisting under load adds strain.

Movement is medicine when done the right way.
