Quartz, Aquamarine, Morganite and Tanzanite

A hush gathers in the chamber
nested behind your ribs
where shadowed waters wait
for your reflection
each thought released
returns with a mirrored eye
inquiring softly
does this belong to you?
you wander among selves
you once abandoned
forgotten prayers
voices you never truly buried
they rise from the silt
like seeds of forgotten constellations
asking not to be chosen
but to be held
at the same time
tread gently with words
in this permeable hour
the world echoes
with unvarnished truth
motion answers instantly
as if the veil has grown thin enough
for even a whisper
to tilt the room
the inner searcher wakes
dusting fingerprints
on every impulse
tracing the lineage
of your fears
back to the ancient hands
that first taught you
the weight of silence
soon
a new fire lifts its head
a widening
a compass unclasping
but expansion now has edges
softly patrolled by discernment
the old urge to run forward
is tempered by the wisdom
that clarity scatters
when assumptions speak too loudly
even freedom has boundaries
when the map redraws itself mid-journey
and still the invitation remains
unfurl the grip
let the unseen steer
allow the wind
to rewrite your certainty
faith is opening your hands
before you know
what will land

Today we start our exciting informative tour down herbal lane, to begin exploring all of the countless benefits that are available to those who choose to explore the properties and healing potential of this amazing health-giving modality~ ‘herbal healing’~ available to all of us, in one form or another! 🌱🌿

For those that are familiar with my practice as an herbalist/Iridologist, there will be no surprise of my first choice to begin our herbal learning journey! .. 🙂

SHARING OF THE SACRED HERBALS ~ Choice #1
BLACK ELDERBERRY (Sambucus nigra subsp. nigra, fruit)

‘As trees begin to shed their leaves, one ancient fruit is reaching peak ripeness: black elderberry (Sambucus nigra / canadensis). 🍇

Used for centuries across Europe, from the ancient Greeks to herbal traditions of the Middle Ages, elderberry is a deeply respected medicinal plant. It belongs to the Caprifoliaceae family, and nearly every part has been used historically: flowers, berries, bark, and in some cases, leaves and roots (though these are toxic and must be used with caution).

The berries and flowers are rich in flavonoids, anthocyanins, volatile oils, mucilage, tannins, and vitamins A and C, all of which contribute to their immune-supportive and anti-inflammatory effects. The bark and leaves contain compounds like cyanogenic glycosides and lectins, which should be used only with professional guidance.

Traditionally, elderberry has been used to:

🩷Support immune function and protect against viruses
🩷Relieve colds, coughs, and neuralgia
🩷Act as a gentle diaphoretic, laxative, and diuretic
🩷Stimulate the body’s natural detox pathways’

Extensive clinical studies have been done on Black Elderberry, with results showing that extracts of Black Elderberry were 99% effective in their ability to disarm viruses used in the study.
