Gifted natural heart shaped stone with Hematite and Quartz veins, Quartz

Fear is not carried by tomorrow
it rises from the bones of yesterday
from ash rings and old fires
it drifts from the afterglow of what has been
starlight bruised by distance
a constellation rearranged by loss

it gathers where something sacred
slipped through mortal hands
where light thinned suddenly
and the soul learned gravity
when something was taken by the ominous
when our being learned the cost of loving
when the heart was taught without warning
how fragile its anchors were

fear is not prophecy
it is an echo
a comet of memory
echoing through blood and breath

we mistake it for foresight
we call it caution
name it intuition
we dress it in the language of vigilance
nevertheless it is only bygone times
becoming a dark star we orbit

those who came before us knew this sound
they felt it in storms, in hunger, in silence
they braided it into stories
turned shivering into medicine

what was nearly lost
still trembles in us
what was lost entirely
becomes a guide, not a wound

so fear stands at the edge of now
it arrives to teach us where the altar is of what means enough
to protect, to heal

listen closely
beneath the shaking is a blessing
the ancestors are lighting the path again
and fear, at last, learns how to become courage

The year rose without trumpet or flame
yet the mountains felt it shift
roots loosened their ancient grip
what was carried across lifetimes
was finally set down
on holy ground

old labors reached their ending
names, vows, and burdens
returned to the dark
where all things are forgiven

still, the fire remembers
tender places glow
where courage once broke open the heart
this is not ruin
it is the forge

in the quiet, something stirs
hidden paths realign
an idea learning how to breathe
a future assembling its grammar
unlikely threads weaving themselves
into something that can last

stand at the threshold
neither ending nor beginning
but becoming
nothing is demanded
no lineage must be redeemed tonight
no ending needs to be named
only presence
the brighter months are coming
and they know your name

Happy New Year, dear friends ✨

This New Year,
may we set down
the old weights we no longer need to carry —
the niggling fears,
the worries and worn‑out stories,
the things we could never quite get right,
or turn back time
to fix.

For a changed life may be waiting
just round the corner,
with a welcome glove outstretched
to greet us —
a secret smile,
hope sparkling in the eye,
ready to waltz us
into 2026.

What an incredible miracle to consider:
that we are alive,
in this exact moment,
together.
That each year we are given
the chance to renew,
re‑envision,
and gently realign.

So here it is once more —
the place where we cross
the threshold
of the next year’s door,
bringing the world closer
to the way we came here
to create it ~..one brave and beautiful
dance step
at a time.

A Winter Solstice Blessing

The winter solstice is a sacred time,
infused with quiet magic and returning light.
It is a moment when the universe, in its infinite kindness,
awakens our hearts to tender and brighter possibilities,
rekindling the light of hope within our souls
as a new cycle of light slowly begins.

In this holy pause between darkness and dawn,
we are invited to release,
to loosen our grip on old patterns, heavy sorrows,
and lingering wounds that we may continue to carry.
With open hands and gentle hearts,
we step forward,
cradling the promise of brighter, more hopeful beginnings.

May all who have known loss or disappointment
find comfort in this peaceful turning.
May the light, though small at first,
guide us faithfully through the darkest days,
reminding us that even the longest night
must yield to morning.

As we give thanks for all that has nourished us,
every lesson, every kindness, every tenderness
that shaped our year,
we honor the path that brought us here.
And in gratitude,
we begin again,
walking onward with renewed hope,
