U15 Estevan Elite were up in Foam Lake Sunday playing in the Grand Slam League mini tournament!

Even with a small crew, these girls played hard, got some extra reps in and were excited to start the season!

We are proud to partner with Pebbles to Rocks Childcare Centre Corporation! They are about 1 month away from opening an additional 90 much needed daycare spots in our community.

Circle the date on your calendar, right after the long weekend is the next Estevan Community Wellness Game's Night. Join us at 6pm Tuesday May 19th at the Estevan Market Mall food court, we'll bring the refreshments!

This free event is open to everyone in the community, no matter their age or ability. Even if you don't like board games or card games we'd still enjoy the chance to visit with you.

Celebrating Nurses Week 2026: “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives.”

At Souris Family Pharmacy, we have one Registered Nurse on staff. I (Kirsten) joined during the 2024 Flu & Covid vaccination season and have continued to expand my role within the pharmacy and through the services we offer to our community.

The nine standards identified in the photo are considered required competencies of Registered Nurses’ practice. Since starting at SFP, I’ve been able to apply my nursing knowledge and skills across all aspects of my job within the pharmacy.

With 13 years of experience working as an RN within the healthcare system, I’ve evaluated both the services offered in store and how we’ve chosen to participate in the community. We’ve sought out strategic partnerships and community investment opportunities that continue to address existing gaps in our healthcare system.

By supporting Estevan Community Wellness in reducing social isolation, partnering with Kindred Care for Papapolooza to improve access to women’s health services, and offering influenza & covid vaccines onsite for seniors residences, SFP continues to advocate and collaborate with community partners.

Thank you to our clients, it is a pleasure to support you throughout your healthcare journey and thank you to all the NPs, RNs, LPNs and CCAs I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside. Happy Nurses Week!
