We are thankful.

We’re thankful for our incredible team, for the families who continue to place their trust in our hands—especially knowing there are other funeral homes they could choose—and for Eric and Carla Goodfellow and their team at Goodalt Landscape Designers & Contractors Ltd.

When Eric came to us more than a year ago with a vision for our Exeter property, we were all ears. Today, that vision is truly taking shape, and we couldn’t be more grateful for his pride in his work—right down to making sure the sidewalks were blown clean every evening.

Thank you to everyone for your patience over the past two weeks (and the past two years!) as we’ve worked toward an exterior that’s finally almost as nice as our interior.

We’re proud to share that last week was a meaningful one.

Our company was honoured to receive the Cornerstone Award from the Ontario Funeral Service Association (OFSA), recognizing outstanding contributions to the funeral profession.

We were equally proud to see Wes Elmes presented with the Community Impact Award for his support of a neighbouring funeral home family during their time of need.

Both recognitions speak to the commitment of our entire team—their care, professionalism, and dedication are what make these acknowledgements possible.

On Sunday, we welcomed several hundred people to our Tree Planting Dedication Service, where families gathered to remember their loved ones.

This week, we continue forward with improvements to our Exeter location as our parking lot replacement project begins.

We are incredibly grateful to our families, our communities, and our team.
