20 minutes of Pilates ➝ 3 minute reel ✨
Ocean view. Salty air.
Beginner/intermediate flow because she’s been fueled by tacos & margaritas 🌮🍹

Movement doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful.
Show up, modify, breathe, repeat.
Pilates on vacation still counts 🤍

🌟 NEW CLASS TIMES 🌟
Okay Pilates Phoenix’s… before I lock in the March + April schedule, I need your thoughts 👀

Would you come to mat classes at:
🌅 Mondays & Wednesdays at 6:30am
🌙 Thursdays at 7:30pm

Early birds, night owls, busy babes, this is your moment 🙌
These times work for me with the kiddos hopefully still in bed and heading to bed!
If these times don’t work for Mat, these times may turn into semi-private equipment classes instead ✨

Drop a 💛 if you’re in, a 💤 if mornings are scary, or a 🌙 if nights are your thing!

Double Leg Lifts / Lowers 🔥
This one looks like a “drop your legs to the mat and suffer” kind of exercise… but that’s not where the magic lives ✨

This is a deep abdominal exercise, not a leg competition.
Keep the spine in its curve, shoulders lifted, and ribs connected.

The second your lower back arches?
Your abs clock out and your back clocks in 😅

And yes,……you can absolutely go lower than me! 😅🤪
I’m currently rebuilding my personal practice, so we’re meeting strength where it’s at and working smarter, not ego-lifting 😂

💫 The real goal:
As the legs lower, the upper body does not.
Hold the shape. Keep the connection. That’s where it clicks.

Only 5–8 quality reps needed.

This is one of my favourite exercises to teach because you can see the moment it lands…
The eyes go wide like 😳👀 and suddenly everything makes sense.

That’s Pilates magic ✨

Rolling Like a Ball 🌀
It looks like a silly little kid exercise… until you actually do it.

This movement is about more than rolling, it’s a deep massage for your spine, a wake-up call for your core, and a lesson in control. Also a bonus massage of your internal organs.
You’re learning how to round the spine, organize the body, and move as one piece. It takes more mental work the one thinks, toddlers make somersaults look so easy! 🤪🤣

This is a foundational exercise for a reason. The basics are what unlock the bigger, more advanced work.

✨ Struggling? That’s part of the process.
Here’s how to build it:
• Stay seated and practice the rounding, using your belly to rock back and return upright
• Progress to a wide-leg roll with elbows out (bigger ball = more stability)
• Make it more challenging by drawing knees and elbows in
• Hug the knees tight to the chest for maximum control

The last exercise is Roll Over, an advanced overhead exercise. Can you spy the rolling like a ball foundation?

Different vibe, same DNA.

Once you learn to spot the connections, Pilates stops feeling like random exercises and starts feeling like a system.
Nothing is accidental. Everything builds. 🤍

Yes I actually have a diploma in Pilates and yes that’s a real thing!
(I also have a diploma in travel and hospitality and Massage Therapy 😅🤣)

This diploma isn’t about the hours, it’s about the responsibility and the training behind it.

Over 850 hours of training, observation, and practice taught me that Pilates is more than a workout. It’s a method and a system.
Every exercise connects. Every layer builds on the last.
Insert shrek quote about onions and layers 🤣

Learning the full Pilates system gave me the confidence to meet bodies where they are, to simplify when needed, and to progress thoughtfully when the time is right. That’s where the magic is.

I’m trained across Levels 1–5 in mat, reformer, Wunda chair, Cadillac, spine & foot correctors, Ped-O-Pull, and ladder barrel and every piece has deepened my understanding of movement as a whole.

I’m endlessly grateful for my education at Embody School of Pilates (now University of Pilates) and for the instructors who continue to support and cheer me on, even six years later.
This diploma represents care, curiosity, and a commitment to teaching Pilates with intention, connection, and respect for every body and its one I’m incredibly proud of.

February is the month for mat classes!
I’m off on holidays 🏝️
So the lovely is holding down the Pilates fort for me!

Jackie is trained in classical Pilates with a bit of physio infusion.
So you will see some similarities but will also see Pilates through a different perspective which is so exciting!

I don’t believe there are any open mats currently but if you would like to be waitlisted let us know :)

5am gym ➝ mom life ➝ Pilates instructor ➝ lash artist ➝ repeat 💪✨
Just a regular day doing what I love (with coffee in between, obviously).
Come spend the day with me 🤍

Why do I have a big bag for my pilates classes?
To carry all the essentials of course!
We have snacks for Makayli and a protein shake for me!
(Vanilla pea protein shake by Arbonne from my dealer )
Emergency diaper and wipes for the little.
My planner with my schedule and participants.
My water! The most needed! As I talk more in a one Pilates class than I do all day usually 🤣
Which is why I also love my bag because it has the water bottle holder for bottles with a handle!
Pilates socks, just in case I get a free few minutes for my own practice.
Moroccan oil lip gloss
And my keychain with all my homemade goal punch cards! I love seeing them in my bag because it’s a good reminder of my goals and intentions of the year 💕
