Our Team Addy fundraiser is well under way!
For those not aware, Team Addy is a movement started right here in Centre Wellington, and encapsulates the sheer courage and determination of a beautiful young lady, Addison (Addy) Hill. Addy and her family faced the unspeakable task of navigating a terrible childhood cancer (Angiosarcoma), and when it became evident that the cancer was no longer treatable, Addy asked that the fight continue so that future children diagnosed with Sarcoma would not endure her tremendous pain and suffering. While Addy’s physical journey has ended, she did not lose the fight; instead, her tenacity and positivity live on in the spark she ignited in her community. Team Addy’s mission is “Dedicated to Raising Awareness and Changing the Lives of Children with Sarcoma Cancer.” All funds raised benefit vital Sarcoma research at SickKids and are already changing the outcomes of children fighting this terrible disease. We fight with you Addy!
