🫧🍕New Recipe Here 🍕🫧

Pizza and a movie is a long standing tradition in my house. One I look forward to each week as my ‘Mom’s Not Cooking Night’! Recently, as so many of us are, I’m reevaluating my food budget and my weekly delivery pizza is a glaring item. With my boys now being teens they sure do devour pizza!

Today we tried a new variation of pizza with Bubble Pizza found on IG (original link at bottom). I made a few changes and my version is below. This was so easy it didn’t even feel like cooking 👏🏼

Bubble Pizza
🍕Preheat oven to 400F
🫧Grease a 9x13 casserole dish.
🍕Add two packages of premade biscuits, each round cut into quarters. Make sure you don’t layer this too thick as it will take longer to cook the dough through (as I may have found out the hard way 😆).
🫧Add onion powder, garlic powder and Italian seasoning to the dough.
🍕Mix in half of your prefered toppings with the dough.
🫧Top with 600ml of pizza sauce/marinara etc.
🍕Top with grated cheese.
🫧Finally add the remaining half of your toppings.
🍕Bake for 30-45min.
🥒🥕Serve with veggies and dip or a salad to balance out the meal.

I’ve been making school lunches for 11 years and this one tool has given me options as kids went through food jags and preferences!

💜 Stew or Soup
💜 Overnight Oats
💜 Pancakes or French Toast
💜 Cereal

💜 Easy sandwich alternatives
💜 Kids come home saying “all my friends love your cooking Mom!”

Biggest Tip ➡️ To keep the food hot/cold fill with boiling or cold water for 5-10 minutes before adding the food in.

This is the recipe for you!!
This warm/cold salad has been on repeat this summer with the veggies added changing up with the season. This is a great make-ahead-one-bowl meal!

Adaptions:
Veggies: choose what you have and like just adapt cooking time accordingly
Selective Eaters: use ‘Considerate Not Catering’ and serve this separated or plain versions of these foods.

🙃Is anyone else drowning in all the June activities?!🤪

This easy weeknight dinner saved my butt tonight! In an ideal world it would have paired with cooked chicken, but by the time I got to it all the Walmart cooked chickens were gone. Alas we went with milk as our protein tonight!

🫛Easy Spring Veggie Pasta🫛

375g dry pasta
375g sliced asperigus (~1 bunch)
2 cup frozen pea (defrosted)
3/4 cup cream cheese
2 tbsp pesto
Garlic and onion powder to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook the pasta according to package directions and half way through the cooking time add the veggies.
When pasta is cooked drain pasta and veggies reserving some of the pasta water.
Add the pasta-veggies back into the pot with the cream cheese and pesto. Stir, adding the pasta water slowly, until the cream cheese melts and creates a sauce.
Add garlic powder, onion powder and salt/pepper to taste.

Enjoy!

I hope this meal serves you just as well as it did me on a busy evening!

Bonus points: The littlest kiddo said “I used to not like the green things (asparagus) but in this I do kinda.” Neutral expose, many ways over time FTW 🙌🏼
