🛑 SCAM ALERT 🛑

We have seen a few comments on our older posts trying to sell our followers fake merchandise, tagging specific followers, and urging a quick purchase through a link to a page. We want to assure you we have been reporting and blocking these but urge you to do the same, should you see this or be tagged.

We are not selling any licensed merchandise at this time, should we ever do so in future we would never ask others to do so on our behalf, nor would we ask random accounts to tag our community and use time-sensitive pressure techniques. Should we ever sell merchandise, it would be through a legitimate website and process.

All of these things are common signs of a scam and sadly there likely is no actual product being sold, just an attempt to get your sensitive banking information.

We are including one example, but each has come from a different fake page, so they may differ slightly.

Our good friends RBC came back to Groves again this year, to kick off Nursing Week by handing out free Tim Hortons to our hardworking staff, physicians, & volunteers!

This generous gesture is in addition to $10,000 committed to Nursing Education at GMCH for 2026!

Since 2002, RBC have given an astonishing $420,000 to Groves, $161,500 of which has funded ongoing education for our nurses.

Thank you RBC for all you do to empower nurses, advance rural health care, and support vital needs of our hospital!! 💙💛

From all of us at Groves Hospital & Foundation; Happy Mother’s Day! 🫶🏼💗

Here are just a few of the 625 precious babies born at GMCH last year. Featuring “Groves Baby” onesies, generously sponsored by Bill & Cheryl Rowe & Family.

Today can be a day of both happy & complicated emotions. For those who have lost their moms, for those who wish for children, and for mothers who have lost their baby/child. We are holding space for you🤍

Wishing all the Mothers, in their many forms, a day to be celebrated! 🌸🌷🌻

An inspiring day of learning and professional growth at our Nursing Skills Day. Nurses had the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and hands-on skills through Rapid Infuser and arterial line training, enhancing readiness in critical situations; Nextaro reconstitution training, supporting safe medication preparation and administration; Massive Hemorrhage Protocol practice and review, reinforcing best practices and confidence in care delivery; and ostomy care education, building skills to support patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who shared their time, expertise, and experience to present and teach throughout the day.

Thank you to RBC for their generous Nursing Education Funding, making this possible.

Special thanks as well to Casey and Chelsea for organizing such a successful and valuable event.

This National Volunteer Week, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our incredible volunteers who support our hospital & community in so many meaningful ways.

From the gift shop to various departments in the hospital, our volunteers play an essential role in supporting patients, families, & staff each day. We’re grateful for our New to You Store and GMCH Gift Shop volunteers, whose time & dedication help raise vital funds that directly support patient care & hospital services. We also extend our appreciation to our HELP volunteers and our St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog teams who bring comfort & connection to patients & staff alike.

A special thank you to our community partners, including the Wellington Quilt Guild for their beautiful palliative care quilts, various church groups for their thoughtful twiddlemuffs, and all those who generously knit & donate items to support patient care.
