Groves Hospital Foundation's Mission: Dedicated to raising and stewarding funds for Groves Memorial Community Hospital, to ensure that the residents of Centre Wellington and surrounding areas receive optimal health care. Current Campaign - The New Groves Hospital Project: Our community deserves the best healthcare. A positive patient experience is at the forefront of our thinking. Our new facility will be a model in the delivery of patient-centered rural healthcare. It will have the ability to deliver a model of care that aligns with best practice; it will be capable of accommodating modern technology, providing a framework to address future flexibility and changes in technology; it will have welcoming public spaces and comforting views; meet accessibility standards; our new Inpatient Unit will be 80% private rooms; it will provide facilities that meet infection prevention and control standards and reflect best practices and evidence-based design; the overall footprint of our new hospital will almost double in size to meet the demands of our growing community. Far from Ordinary." About Groves Hospital: GMCH is a small rural community hospital serving people in the Township of Centre Wellington and the surrounding rural areas.

Foundation Board Chair, Dr. Keegan Quadros, visited the Fergus Legion last night to receive a generous donation from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 275 Ladies Auxiliary. They have been supporting Groves for 24 years now & have given over $40,000 to enhance patient care, close to home, in our community. Thank you Ladies Auxiliary for being such generous, long-time donors to our hospital!! ♥️

Joanne Gregson, President of the St. Joseph’s CWL, presents a generous gift to Groves, from their Annual Christmas Bazaar. This year, they raised an incredible $3,431 & made a thoughtful donation of new clothing for GMCH’s Clothing Closet.

Since their first gift 21 years ago, they have contributed over $23,000 to our hospital! Thank you St. Joseph’s CWL for your continued support of our patients! 🙏🏼

Back in 2025 (we can say that already, right?!😂), an Anonymous Donor challenged the community to a match of Gifts to Groves December 8-31, up to $300,000.

Well, the results are in!!! 🥁 🥁🥁

In just 3 short weeks, you did it!! You came together & exceeded $300,000. Altogether, 305 donors rose to the challenge & as a group you have raised such a tremendously meaningful amount of money to support our hospital’s needs!

Together, we are getting closer to the goal of $2.7M for GMCH’s needs this year. We are inspired, amazed, humbled, & incredibly grateful for our community. Thank you!! 🏥💜💚
