The snow is piling up in Fernie, it feels like winter is here! ❄☺️
Shovelling all that snow might feel like a workout - and it is! Without a warm up or good shovelling technique, you may find yourself dealing with back pain, shoulder strain, or even injuries.
☃ Stay safe with these 3 tips:
1️⃣ Warm up first: Spend 5 minutes stretching or moving your body before you head outside!
2️⃣ Shovel with proper technique: Bend at your knees (not your back!) and avoid twisting while lifting snow.
3️⃣ Pace yourself: Don't forget to take breaks and enjoy the fresh air!
