We are excited to announce the newest addition to our team at Sparwood Chiropractic and Wellness. Starting August 12th we are welcoming Ciera Knight, a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, to the clinic.

Ciera is a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner with a deep passion for the musculoskeletal system. She combines manual therapy with mobility and strengthening exercises to support pain relief, long-term function, and full-body resilience. Her approach blends hands-on treatment with movement, helping clients feel stronger and more confident in how they move.

Ciera is a 4th degree black belt in WTF Taekwondo and spent years competing across North America at events like Nationals, Can-Ams, and the US Open.A major spinal injury at 18 ended her competition career, but started her fascination of how well the human body can heal. She’s also a high-altitude mountaineer who’s turned around just hours before Mt. Everest’s summit, tagged the top of Aconcagua in Argentina, and is pursuing the Grand Slam: The Seven Summits and both poles.

When she’s not treating patients, you’ll likely find her in the mountains; training, hiking, hunting, camping, snowboarding, or running.

🥇Our own Andrew Duquesnay has clinched first place in the men’s division at the Elkford Triathlon for the second consecutive year!

👖Sparwood Chiropractic was thrilled to be part of this exciting event. After the race, many athletes (including Andrew!) took advantage of the Normatec compression pants to enhance their recovery and improve circulation.

🎉 Congratulations, Andrew, and all the dedicated athletes and volunteers who contributed to making this event unforgettable!
