As a certified Usui Reiki Ryoho Practitioner with a deep understanding of trauma and mental illness, Ryan guides individual healing of the mind, body, and spirit. From a heart-centered and empathic approach, she intuitively holds space for you to feel and let flow. Ryan is passionate about opening the door to Spirit for those who feel disconnected and alone. As a fellow Star Seed, she understands

how painful it can be to exist in this body, in this life, in this world. By helping you ground yourself into Mother Earth, your connection to Source will unfold. Ryan comes from a background of working as a Family Support Worker with high-risk youth and the homeless population. She has diverse experience serving many demographics including individuals with special needs, people of colour, and the LGBTQ+ community, as well as individuals who are facing addictions, grief, and trauma. She sees the pain of this generation. There is a great awakening taking place. Many of us are working to better our world, but we must first raise our own vibration. Ryan aims to help you find peace in this life and a knowing that you are capable of living with joy. As a Métis woman, Ryan has spent her adult life working hard to rediscover her Indigenous heritage. She always brings a cultural awareness to her work and is understanding of both the struggle and pride of being an Indigenous person. Everyday, Ryan strives to move through this world in a good way and bring balance not only to Turtle Island, but to the Earth as a whole.

I am so very excited and honoured to share with you Medicine of the Red Road ✨♥️

Medicine of the Red Road came to Turtle Island to clear the path for our relatives to find ceremony, spirit, culture, and connection. Born from the knowing that each of us carries medicine and has unique gifts to share with the world, Medicine of the Red Road holds space for you to be exactly who you are.

Medicine of the Red Road invites you to walk your medicine through this life, with every step bringing you more deeply into right relation.

There are so many stories to be told and re-introductions to be made, but for now, I’ll leave you with this 💕

As for many of us, this season has been a time of big shifts for Mountain Walker Healing and for me personally. As much gratitude as I have to have journeyed with Mountain Walker Healing over the past 2 years, it's time to make space for something new to land. Mountain Walker Healing has shared all the medicine it was meant to and the energy that remains is ready to transform into a new beginning.

I absolutely cherish the community that I've found through Mountain Walker Healing and appreciate all of your ongoing support. You can still connect with me through my socials during this time of transition as well as through my email mountainwalkerhealing@gmail.com.

✨ food is medicine ✨

I started my trip off in a good way by eating at Feast Cafe Bistro my first night in Winnipeg. This meal of medicine, bison chilli with sweetgrass lemonade, filled my stomach and my heart, setting me on the right foot for the work I came here to do.

“We harvest, cook, and eat with good intention. We pay respect to the plants and animals that give themselves to nourish our bodies. As we eat together, we honour our connections, preserve our history, and share our stories. We are fed in mind, body, and spirit.”

I have no words to express the honour it was to witness such a beautiful Wampum Belt Ceremony between Ketegaunseebee and Bawating today.

Listening to the experiences of residential school survivors, elders, and knowledge keepers is as painful as it is healing. Today I heard a residential school survivor say with tears in her eyes; “It's a beautiful sunny day, why would I be crying.” As we know, you have to feel it to heal it and that much hurt, carried through generations of abuse and genocide does not get moved through in a single day, year, or even a lifetime. As much healing as we do for ourselves, for our children, for our ancestors, that doesn’t make all the hurt and anger and grief magically disappear. Our tears will be demanded under the brightest of suns and the darkest of nights.

Though it may seem silly and simple, I decided today, during this Wampum Belt Ceremony, that I will love my children extra hard for all the kids who never got to feel that love. And I trust that that love will find them across all the time and space between us 🧡

Only 1 more sleep until the Halifax Oddities & Curiosities Show!!

We've got so many cultural, spiritual, and ceremonial tools to offer that I haven't been able to post about them all, but I'll give you a snapshot...

We've got a beautiful assortment of furs; coyote, beaver, crystal fox (which are absolutely gorgeous), red fox, and both natural and vibrantly dyed rabbit furs. For those who enjoy the soothing feeling of the furs, but don't necessarily want a whole one, we've made pocket-sized rabbit fur squares so you can carry the cozy with you.

We've got lots of tools to add to your medicine bundle including drum wraps, womb baskets, broadcloth, turtle shells, porcupine quills, sage, sweetgrass, smudge kits, and medicine bags made by yours truly 💕
