Services include individual therapy, play therapy, behaviour supports, supervised access, & therapeutic groups. Our team of highly trained professional therapists and counsellors provide a variety of client-centered services for children and their families. Mareas' goal is to promote healthy relationships, nurture growth, development and communication within and outside the family. Based in Hamilton, Mareas offers in-home services throughout a large catchment area in southern and south central Ontario. (Hamilton/Halton, Brant County, Niagara Region, Peel Region). At Mareas we offer a wide range of services including psycho/educational assessments, Individual therapy, Adoption Services, Supervised Access, Support Groups and more. Mareas Therapeutic Services is growing, and we’re looking for someone special to join our Foster Care team!

This isn’t your average 9–5 job. It’s meaningful, dynamic, and full of moments that remind you why you got into this field in the first place.

As a Case Manager, you’ll be the primary support for foster families and children in care , building relationships, coordinating services, attending meetings, and advocating your heart out.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

✨ Someone who gets child protection — experience working with or alongside CAS is a must
✨ A flexible, fluid thinker who can juggle multiple hats (seriously, some days you’re a coordinator, advocate, coach, and crisis problem-solver all before lunch)
✨ A genuine love for working with children and diverse family dynamics
✨ Comfort navigating a system that can be frustrating, while staying creative, calm, and solution-focused
✨ Strong organizational skills + the ability to work independently on work-from-home days
✨ A team mentality — we collaborate, consult, and communicate consistently as a clinical group

📌 This role includes:
✔ Providing administrative and therapeutic support to foster families
✔ Liaising with CAS workers, schools, and community partners
✔ Coordinating plans of care and documenting case information
✔ After-Hours Phone Coverage- 1 week per month
✔ Attending team meetings, training, and (yes) after-hours on-call rotation about one week per month

Our Story

Our team of highly trained professional therapists and counsellors provide a variety of client-centered services for children and their families. Mareas' goal is to promote healthy relationships, nurture growth, development and communication within and outside the family.

Based in Hamilton, Mareas offers in-home services throughout a large catchment area in southern and south central Ontario. (Hamilton/Halton, Brant County, Niagara Region). We offer a wide range of services including but not limited to Individual therapy for adults and children/youth, Adoption Services, Play therapy, Supervised Access, a variety of Support Groups for families, and children.

In 2016 we also became a licensed Foster Care Provider with the Ministry of Children Community and Social Services. We provide treatment foster care for children aged 0-18 years old. Our families are trained in therapeutic interventions, and parent from a trauma informed lens. We look for individuals and families in the area of Hamilton and neighbouring communities such as Niagara, Haldimand-Norfolk, Brant County, Halton and Cambridge to be a part of our clinical team, to help children and youth who need a safe and nurturing environment until they can return to their families.
